6. Husky

Reooh a soft whine escapes a stunned husky

It's paw latched to the ground, swollen and pink from broken skin

The bait, a piece of mutton, not worth the torturous clamp pinning him to the ground

Raliah reaches out

Wide blue eyes lock on her hand

A growl, soft but serious warns her

Unlatching the trap

Raliah watches as the husky limps to her

Seeking comfort

Unaware his saviour was his captor
